Saturday 6th December - An afternoon with Malcolm Ducker and Dana Amr

  • 2:30pm to 4:30pm

  • The Victoria Suite, The Camden Centre. Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2SW

  • Free event, donations welcome

  • Refreshments available

Former Tunbridge Wells resident and retired RAF fighter pilot, Malcolm Ducker will be sharing his story and experiences of sailing with Global Summed Flotilla to bring much needed aid to Gaza.

Malcolm previously had a very ‘establishment’ view on politics but, thanks to his daughter, has realised how the UK has behaved for centuries. Malcolm’s reasons for joining the Flotilla stem from disappointment with Starmer and his instrumental role in this genocide.

Malcolm says of his time with the RAF “When I was serving, it wasn’t just for the defence of the UK; it should have been the defence of all human rights; that should have been part of my job. What has appalled me most is the number of RAF flights that have been flying over Gaza and giving intelligence information to the Israelis.”

The flotilla was attacked and intercepted by the Israeli military, and Malcolm along with all of the other crews and passengers were detained and subsequently held at the Ktzi’ot prison, before he was eventually deported and returned to the UK.
